Samsung Galaxy S III will Not Be Presented at Mobile World Congress

by VISHAL GAIKAR - on Feb 2nd 2012 - 1 Comment

The Samsung Galaxy S III will not be presented in the  Mobile Word Congress event. Builders took practice to fundamentally change their product line every year. Thus 2011 marked the transition to dual-core and 2012 should be the year of quad-core. Among the famous phones expected, there is the Samsung Galaxy S III, who held the role of flagship model.

The Samsung Galaxy S II was presented just before the Mobile World Congress 2011 and the logic would have liked it to be the same this year. Rumors suggest that this is not the case, and Samsung has just spoken on this subject:

“Samsung is looking forward to introducing and demonstrating exciting new mobile products at Mobile World Congress 2012. The successor to the Galaxy S2 smartphone will be unveiled at a separate Samsung-hosted event in the first half of the year, closer to commercial availability of the product. Samsung stays committed to providing the best possible mobile experiences for customers around the world.”

Last year, they had to wait until May / June for the smartphone is sold. Reduce the time between the announcement and availability is understandable and even tends to reduce the depreciation of the Galaxy S II.

It seems that Samsung is going to introduce the next version of Galaxy S II and the fact that Samsung likes to change the design of its models as and when variations of the Galaxy S Plus II happen. On the characteristics, it is about a slightly faster processor with dual-core running at 1.5 GHz. The screen should remain substantially the same: the 4.3-inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixels). Otherwise, it remains a great unknown.
